In these conferences delegates both set the agenda and contribute to the learning.

 

Your virtual board of directors is made up of yourself and nine other ambitious entrepreneurs.

 

You come with your issues and you come ready to contribute your expertise.

 

As you sit round the table with nine other ambitious business people you will gain the combined knowledge and experience of the whole group....

 

Every part of the agenda is an opportunity for you to grow your personal effectiveness and your business.

 

A unique fusion of two powerful and proven concepts

 

The day will begin with each participant raising a topic which they believe is important to their business and about which they feel passionate....

 

This is not a topic on which they believe they are an expert but one which they could benefit from exploring.

 

These topics will then be formed into an agenda that will shape the rest of the day.

 

The day may be spent as a whole group or in smaller groups, the participants will decide the best way forward.

 

Your facilitator will simply open the space to enable this incredibly powerful process to happen.

 

 

3 simple presuppositions:

 

 

1) Everyone around the table has something to offer. Even if they have no experience in your sector, you will be surprised how profound a person’s contribution might be.

 

 

2) There is always something for me to learn. Those who come content within the limitations of their own knowledge and perspective will not benefit from these days.

 

 

3) There is always something to contribute. Even if you are unfamiliar with the particulars of another business you come to the table with a unique perspective, a unique library of knowledge and unique questions.

 

 

Have your own non-executive board of directors for the day

 

A non-executive board of directors is an incredibly powerful tool that may not be affordable to many entrepreneurial businesses. The day-rate for a non-executive director can be anything upwards of £500. That would make the cost of a board of 14 members - £7000 per day (or £42,000 a year)....

 

We will create an environment comparable with a non-executive board of directors providing support and accountability to agreed actions to move each business forward.

One of the attributes we look for in successful delegates is pro-activity. The last thing you need is a regular moan about the difficulties of business life.

 

Your virtual board of directors will be positively focused on producing the active pursuit of success.

 

That doesn’t mean that you have to wear a silly grin and pretend life is great.

 

It means that you will be helped to find a positive response to the challenges you face and you will leave the meeting with specific actions you have agreed to pursue.
